EchoSign allows you to easily place signatures, initial boxes and forms fields in your document simply by adding special text tags in your document. Tags may appear in any document type including PDF, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Zoho and Google Docs, and simple text files (*.txt)
EchoSign will convert any text-based document containing those tags into a powerful EchoSign Form, allowing allow you to collect data from your signers, position signature and initials fields in your documents, collect multi-party information from sender and signers and more.
EchoSign Text Tags allows you to quickly and easily create forms either by simply editing an existing document or by editing document templates you're already using in other systems (e.g. Salesforce.com, CongaMerge, etc.).
The example below illustrates how one can easily take a contract template and modify it to create a powerful EchoSign form that signers can complete and sign online

If you cannot change your document creation system or its templates, your EchoSign Enterprise account can be configured with Intelligent Tag Creation to automatically convert any string into a signature or initials field. For example, your account can be configured to automatically change any occurrence of the string "Customer Initials" into an EchoSign initials field.
